Welcome to Pinto Ranch! We are much more than just western wear… it’s a lifestyle. Our wide range of exclusive collections embody the romanticism and traditions of the old west with contemporary style and handcrafted quality. From premier Mens and Ladies apparel, hats, belts, buckles and jewelry to the largest collection of handmade cowboy boots & fine western wear in the United States. Western WEARS anywhere!
Since the year 2000, handcrafted leather boots have been Ernie Tarut (“the Old Gringo”) and Yan Ferry’s passion. The result of this collaboration combined Ernie Tarut’s 30 years of leather manufacturing experience and Yan Ferry’s 30 years of European design and boot making mastery under one roof creating footwear of superior and unique style and quality. It is from this passion that Old Gringo pushes the traditional western envelope with artisan handcrafted boots and outer wear that captures vintage charm and contemporary styles. Old Gringo’s domestic and international customer base consists of women and men who are fashion focused and career minded. They demand unique footwear and luxury leather goods that represent Vintage, Contemporary, Rock Star and European style. 100% of our boots are HANDCRAFTED in our own factory in Leon, Mexico. Currently the Old Gringo factory employs over 250 people and covers over 40,000 square feet. Our distinctive style makes us a life style brand with a vast following unlike the average “cowboy boots” company. This distinctive style cultivates the cross pollination of fashion and western markets. “It is and always will be about making the right pair of boots. You know those boots you always turn to and never want to take off?” commented Tarut.
“Life’s better wearing Old Gringo”.
National Barn Alliance
The National Barn Alliance (NBA) grew out of an informal network of Cooperative Extension educators, historic preservationists, and concerned citizens involved in statewide barn rehabilitation programs. Since 1995 the NBA has been working behind the scenes to save and protect these iconic links to our agrarian heritage. As the only national organization focused exclusively on barn preservation, the NBA has worked across the country to fulfill its mission: to encourage the documentation of historic barns and other rural structures throughout America; encourage and support the creation of statewide and local barn preservation organizations and programs; and to facilitate the sharing of information on barns, their history and their maintenance.
The NBA has partnered with many groups aligned in an effort to support barn preservation, including the National Trust for Historic Preservation and their BARN AGAIN! program and other related national, state, and local organizations with an aim to save the tangible remnants of our rural heritage! It is our privilege and pleasure to partner with the great team at work behind “Wild About Barns” as we continue to promote greater understanding of the technical assistance, educational programs, and financial resources that exist across the country to aid in the preservation of America’s historic barns.
